I wish I could say that the Endeavour has put her challenging ordeals behind her, but it seems that our curse for always getting into situations that get out of control has followed us even here. I hope I can say that we've settled into our new home timeline without too much difficulty, although I believe that everyone is still adjusting. Including me. I have the feeling that we've definitely been noticed if for nothing else than the way we literally exploded on the scene. Starbase Typhoon did a great job repairing the ship, even made a few modifications and upgraded our systems. I think they're even taking some of the design changes on Endeavour and using them as a standard for a new class model, to which I have to give a nod to the design team that put the Intrepid II class together.
Commander Silvisi and most of her team have returned to the ship. We managed to locate and rescue them, although I'm afraid they suffered casualties. I've recommended everyone for citations, although from what mission reports I've read and from my debriefing with Isabella, I'll have to conduct a captain's mast. Hopefully, this will be the last of the disciplinary actions I have to make for a while. I plan to talk to Isabella later on. This was her first independent command, and I hope she doesn't take it too hard. It's never easy to lead, even harder to lead under the circumstances that met the Nighthawk mission.
I also recommended engineering for commendations for getting the Endeavour back into working order without having to have the ship towed back to Starbase Typhoon. It seems we're always putting Jera Ros and her crew to work, but I'm hoping that for a while, we can get to some actual exploring and for once stop putting dents in the new hull plating. It would be nice for once to not have to read a report where we're having to fix this hull breach or that system for whatever reason.
We're currently on course for Science Station D5, where we can hopefully grab some R&R for a day and get our bearings before we head out.
